This print was given the title ‘Portrait of a Malt’ / i’ve always considered this a typographic landscape / a textural composition exploring the language of whisky / important information / it was a tribute to David Stewart the long serving malt master to celebrate 25 years

I cut the shape of the bottle from a lovely piece of grainy oak / traced & laser cut & brought up to type height .918 of an inch (which is approximately 23.3 mm) / & over-printed in both secondary colours & once again with the typographic label for the whisky
